Cinema Nairn show three matinees a year on selected Mondays at 2:00pm.
Admission is £2.50 paid at the door, and why not stay after the film for free home made bakes and tea / coffee, and a chat about the film.
Andy May and the 2019 Nairn Book & Arts Festival.
Each year, renowned local pianist Andy May keeps a Saturday in September free in his busy diary to join Cinema Nairn in our presentation of a fantastic silent movie as part of our contribution to the NB&A festival.
Andy performs his own fantastic improvised score on the keyboard.
This year’s film is Buster Keaton’s The General 15th September 2019 at 10:00am at The Little Theatre in King Street Nairn.
Cinema Nairn presents films once a month on Friday evenings, at 7:30pm at the Nairn Community and Arts Centre.
Admission is £5 on Fridays (£3 for under 16) paid at the door
2019 will be the 10th year of presenting films from Cinema Nairn in Nairn, showing over 120 films in that time ranging from silent films, old classic and musicals, to contemporary films, some with a Scottish connection, and often unearthing hidden gems.
